Under Sink Solution

There has been a lot of activity under our kitchen sink so it was no surprise when I started noticing a little bit of water damage in the cabinet. It wasn't bad at all. Truth is it was barely noticeable. I could only see it with a flash light on but it still bothered me. 

Beverage Station

One of the things I fell in love with about our house was the little nook area upstairs in the game room. When I saw it, I knew almost instantly what exactly I wanted to do with it...a little area for snacks and drinks while relaxing upstairs. It has definitely saved me a lot of trips downstairs to the kitchen during movie night.

Window Bench

Finally I made the window bench I've been wanting for a really long time. I've dreamt about this bench many a nights. The closest ikea to me is 3 hours away and I wasn't willing to drive that far just to go to ikea so I had to wait for a perfect excuse before I could get started on this project.

Mail Center

Sorting and storing mail has been one of the biggest issues I have been having. I hate to admit it but I used to sort AND store our mails on the dining table because we don't eat on it often. I guess I was putting the table to good use then but the mess was just an eyesore.

I found the perfect solution at IKEA...it's the Kvissle magazine rack. It has 5 compartments which is more than enough for us.

Initial Canvas

I recently decided to put up a gallery wall on the stairway. I've been planning day and night on how exactly I want it to look, what pictures I want to use and more importantly what I want it to represent.  I was torn between doing something simple or something vibrant and kinda playful. Eventually, I went with the latter.
